Ahh the good old days:
Were Bergman forks ever popular on your side of the pond?

My first full-sus frame, in 1997:
Scott Neva, with odd-ball top-tube pivot!
Mine cracked under the headtube, my dad got someone he worked with to weld it up, but I didn't trust it and bought a Coyote DH1 to replace it.
I was GUTTED when I found out recently that my parents had thrown it away

Man, Sandro is today's god. Thanks for posting those old pics. Now I can sit in my long friday commute home thinking how I got sucked into buying a Schwinn S-40 URT back in 1996.
cheers!

Here`s one of my first " propper " (cough) downhiller.
After two rides the bushes were worn out on the leader fork and amp frame.
It was like riding a bannana.
Nuke-proof hubs, sdg seat, magura hydrolic rim brakes and cooks bros crank which came of my Kona hei-hei.

Nice! I have just started hearing about nuke proof hubs after getting one on a bike in a trade. I don't know how old this thing is, but it is still super smooth.
