I do remember hearing Love Will Tear Us Apart at my brother's wedding.
They also had Safety Dance, it was not traditional wedding music.

Bands I love almost always at some point cite Joy Division as an influence, and I've just never been able to get into them.

I've always loved the Joy Division/Teletubbies mashup's.
Although I appreciate the Teletubbies is unlikely to be as much of a cultural meme to the Americans.
Gonna inflict it on you anyway.
