Thanks for the head's up @konifere, just ordered one. At 5'7", I went for a size small. Reach is close to my medium hd5, which I find very comfortable. Never really cared about fatbike but I figured that at this price, even if I end up using it only 3-4 times every winter for a few years it'll be worth it.

TRP TR-33 rotors for $68, in 203mm version.

Might be a typo on their website, as every other spot has these listed for $80 (or more).

Oddly, the 160mm rotor is $72.

I ordered two...

Yeah hopefully they are straight.

Got them from @Westy's enginerd feedback on them being fairly true. And will hopefully cut down on the occasional rubbing I get with my Hayes Dominions (on 2.1mm thick rotors).

I initially thought that the difference between rotors (except thickness and machined vs stamped) were purely cosmetic, but those TRPs changed my mind. If I wasn't running Maguras which have little pad-rotor clearance, I'd swap all my rotors for those TRP 2.3s.

Cheers, will send that to the GF, as thats cheap enough just to have as a spare for future use.

On another note, MEC has the strangest selection of parts. And usually, it's never anything that I need - which sucks sometimes, as they are fairly convenient for me to pick stuff up from.

$50 for 11 speed XT derailleur - https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5055-760/deore-xt-rd-m8000-sgs-11sp-shadow+-rear-derailleur?queryID=dd7cd1f0cafd38ff2b0d421b2dc2d40a&colour=Black

$5 for 8oz bottle of Orange Sealant (light version) - https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5039-424/tubeless-sealant-8oz-with-injector?queryID=202208b4531f93d2dcb3a3781910afff&colour=NO_COLOUR

$4 for 4oz bottle of Orange Sealant (regular version) - https://www.mec.ca/en/product/6019-056/tubeless-tire-sealant---regular-refill?queryID=a6bdf763a7ad3381a59108e75a6a7e9d

$10 for 8oz bottle of Orange Sealant (endurance version) - https://www.mec.ca/en/product/6019-061/tubeless-tire-sealant-with-injection-system---endu?queryID=a6bdf763a7ad3381a59108e75a6a7e9d

Also browsing their menus for products doesn't always work, what crap. Can only find the light sealant if you browse and don't search.

thanks for the heads up on the XT mech (in a world of big heavy $500 derailleurs, i love these wee things); just snapped one up & a couple chains for cheap. feels like mec is purging their parts inventory / paring things down a bit in that department.

Not your problem. They advertised at one price, they need to honour it.

Section 74.05 of the Competition Act prohibits the sale or rent of a product at a price higher than its advertised price.
Hmmm, I guess I could have pulled that card. I told them to just cancel the order, if they can't honour the price.

Already ordered two more rotors from Fortnine. With free shipping its only $10 more anyways.

and another shop that's within a 10 minute walk from me... I dropped by last year and was pretty underwhelmed. But I just read in the newspaper that they bought out an old bike shop whose owner was retiring, so maybe they're expanding their offer? Need a new townie for the boy this year so may wander over to see what they have...

Props to fullcycle again.

Wanted to order a North Shore Billet hanger, but NSB wanted to charge $20 for shipping (or get it free with $100 pufxhase).

Fullcycle is going to bring the hanger in for the same price as NSB, but with free shipping. :)

Yes, thanks to you for the head's up about Full Cycle a while ago. I ordered stuff from them a few times already and I only have good things to say.

That being said, I never had an issue reaching the 100$ minimum when shopping on the NSB website. :homer:
